documenting journeys

I like to collect ephemera when I am out on the street. I came up with the idea of collecting leaves to us as ephemera to. Document where I have been. I expressed these using books. 

 I created an A- Z using black and white photocopies, I did this so the focus would be on the leaves and put the leaves on the roads that I walked down.    

I wanted to create some where u can keep the leaves so I create d a secrete compartment in the this book. 

With this book I used the leaves as the pages the first page is one side of the road and the last page is the end of the road. I like how this changes the meaning of a book as the leaves become the leaves of the page.
